SOME OF OUR

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can my child ride the carousel?

Children of all ability over 1.1m in height are able to ride The Elizabeth Quay Carousel. Any child that is under this height must be accompanied by an adult for their own safety. Children under 1.1m ride for free with a paying adult. Children under the age of 1 are unable to ride the carousel.

Can I ride the carousel?

All riders must be over the age of 1 year old. Must be in good health and free from heart conditions, pregnancy and back or neck injury.

-

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes we do. The Elizabeth Quay Carousel is committed to providing access to as many people as possible and provides a wheelchair ramp for ease of access for wheelchairs. Companions/Carers can also ride on the Carousel free when accompanying a person who uses a wheelchair.

Some special considerations to note.

Because wheelchair models are so varied and often customised to specific requirements, some wheelchairs - electric or manual - may not be suited to this ride. It is the wheelchair user and/or Carers responsibility to ensure the wheelchair access is suitable for their particular model.

The Elizabeth Quay Carousel Team will provide the ramp access but cannot provide assistance with manoeuvring and operating wheelchairs. Carers or members of your own party will need to provide any assistance that is required.
